What is Coaching?

Coaching closes the gap between where you are now and where you want to be!

Your coach guides you in a non-judgmental and unbiased manner and encourages you to go beyond self-imposed limitations to realize your full potential. Coaching shows you how to eliminate the things that drain your energy and bring in the things that give you energy.

Together with your coach you form a partnership to support and encourage you in achieving your goals, ambitions and your dreams. The coaching partnership will be a flexible and fluid one and aims to give you the opportunity to find balance and true fulfilment in your life. Coaching is about creating the future you want.

How does it work?

Your coach will listen and guide you. She helps you to feel confident in making decisive changes and gives you the courage to strive for a life of personal fulfilment and joy.

A coaching session is a conversation that lasts on average 45 to 60 minutes. It can be either face to face or on the telephone. I encourage clients to have 3 sessions a month over an initial 3 month period and then have further sessions as required.

Each segment of the wheel represents one area of your life. Consider each section - how satisfied are you with all these areas of your life? Are you putting as much time, energy and attention into these areas as you would like? The centre of the wheel is 0 and means you are totally dissatisfied; the outer edge is 10 and represents complete satisfaction and achievement. Decide your degree of satisfaction from 0 to 10 and mark it on the relevant spoke. Now draw a line to join your degree marks together. How balanced is your life? Which areas make you happy, satisfied and fulfilled? Which areas need improvement?
